Ecological Economics

Published/Hosted by: ELSEVIER
ISSN: 0921-8009
Country: Netherlands
Frequency: Monthly
Impact Factor: 2.855 (2012)

About Journal
The journal is concerned with extending and integrating the study and management of "nature's household" (ecology) and "humankind's household" (economics). This integration is necessary because conceptual and professional isolation have led to economic and environmental policies which are mutually destructive rather than reinforcing in the long term. The journal is transdisciplinary in spirit and methodologically open.

Submission Process

General Guidelines for Authors
Manuscripts, book reviews and letters to the Editor should contain numbered lines, with wide margins and double spacing throughout. The same applies for abstracts, footnotes and references. Every page of the manuscript, including the title page, references and tables, should be numbered in the upper right-hand corner. However, in the text no reference should be made to page numbers; if necessary, one may refer to sections. Underline words that should be in italics, and do not underline any other words. Avoid excessive usage of italics to emphasize part of the text.
