About Journal
The Journal of Economic Education offers original articles on teaching economics. In its pages, leading scholars evaluate innovations in teaching techniques, materials, and programs. Instructors of introductory through graduate level economics will find the journal an indispensable resource for content and pedagogy in a variety of media. The Journal of Economic Education is published quarterly in cooperation with the National Council on Economic Education and the Advisory Committee on Economic Education of the American Economic Association.

General Guidelines for Authors

·         All Copy: Text, explanatory notes, and references must be typed double-spaced to fit on 8.5-inch × 11-inch paper. Additional details are available on the JEE style sheet .
·         Title Page: To retain anonymity in the review process, show author's name only on title page; include professional title and institutional affiliation, author's complete mailing and e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers.
·         Tables and Figures: Please refer to the JEE style sheet .
·         Color Illustrations: Color illustrations will be considered for publication; however, the author will be required to bear the full cost involved in color art reproduction. Color art can be purchased for online only reproduction or for print + online reproduction. Color reprints can only be ordered if print + online reproduction costs are paid. Rates for color art reproduction are: Online Only Reproduction: $225 for the first page of color; $100 per page for the next three pages of color. A maximum charge of $525 applies. Print + Online Reproduction: $900 for the first page of color; $450 per page for the next three pages of color. A custom quote will be provided for articles with more than four pages of color. Art not supplied at a minimum of 300 dpi will not be considered for print.
·         Mathematical Symbols and Equations: Present clearly. Distinguish numbers from letters (one from the letter l ; zero from the letter o ). Identify all vectors and Greek letters.
·         Citations and References: Follow the Chicago Manual of Style ( CMS ), 15th ed., University of Chicago Press, 2003. For text citations and references, use the author-date system as in CMS, chap. 16 and 17. For citations, follow style T (Smith 1990). For references, follow style R. List full references, alphabetically by author; include year of publication, title, publication, and publisher or volume, issue, and page numbers.
For text citations, there is no comma before the date. Include a page number for quotations. For example:
a.  (Siegfried 2008).
b.  (Allgood and Walstad 1999, 102).
